Before rolling out new Saved Passwords applications, we recommend testing them with a smaller subsection of your students. Here are a few quick steps for creating a successful Saved Passwords pilot:
- First, you'll want to test your Saved Passwords application to make sure they're working perfectly. If you run into any issues you can submit a ticket to our support team.
- Next, you'll need to choose a credential upload method for the application. Try to use the same method you'll use to fully roll out the application. If you choose district-managed credentials, your next step will be to upload the credentials for the users in your pilot class or classes. If you choose user-managed credentials, the students and teachers in the pilot will submit their own credentials during their first login through Clever.
- Choose a few classrooms to pilot the Saved Passwords application. We recommend choosing classes with students who are old enough to log into the application easily outside of Clever in case of any hiccups.
- Finally, you'll need to configure user access. Make sure to only include the students and teachers in your pilot. Remember: each user you configure access for will see the application in their Portal.
Once you've completed the above steps, the application will be ready to pilot! You can find more information about rolling out and using Saved Passwords applications in our Help Center.
