So you're ready to start using Saved-password applications in your Clever Portal. You've installed the Clever browser extension for all of your students, added the apps you want in your dashboard, and tested them out to make sure everything's working like a charm.
But, if you're like many districts, you've already created custom links for the same applications in your portal. How do you make a seamless transition from those links to the new, shiny Saved-passwords applications?
Here's a quick guide:
- See who the links are shared with by going to your portal and clicking edit on the relevant link:
- Go to the "Select Users" tab of the application's page in your dashboard. From there, use custom rules to select the same users you saw in Step 1:
- Move the custom link and the new Saved-password application to the same category in your Portal. Then, delete the custom link:
Just like that, you've replaced your custom link with a Saved-password application. If you'd like to make your users' experience even more seamless, you can bulk upload their credentials so they don't even have to type them the first time they use the application.
