Which users should be designated or assigned as staff members in Clever?
Staff members in Clever are typically referred to as either non-instructional staff members at the district or school, or employees who do not have a designated or assigned roster in your Student Information System (SIS).
Here are just a few examples of the different types of staff members Clever supports:
- Curriculum Leads
- District Help Desk users
- School-specific Tech Leads
- District members
- After-school Coordinators
Where do staff members log in to the Clever Portal?
Your district staff will use the same single sign-on (SSO) authentication you have designated for your teachers and students (e.g. if your district uses Google, staff can log in with their Google credentials).
What if my staff members are also teachers?
Clever supports users being both teachers and staff members!
If an individual is both a teacher and a staff member in Clever, they can access both user accounts using the same set of credentials. Upon entering their credentials, Clever will prompt them to select which role they would like to log in with.
