Some districts using Clever's automatic sync with PowerSchool will notice that there are multiple records syncing for the same teacher, each record at a different school.
Before July 2013, PowerSchool required a separate teacher record for each school site where a teacher taught. Any district using PowerSchool version 7.8 or later now has the option to create a single "User" record that merges the duplicate teacher records.
1. Consolidate Users
Before Clever can begin exporting only a single record per teacher, you will need to consolidate the multiple teacher records in PowerSchool.

2. Notify Clever of User Consolidation
If you signed up for Clever after July 20, 2014, you do not need to notify Clever once you complete the User Consolidation process. (All PowerSchool Auto Syncs created after July 20, 2014 will automatically use the DCID field from the Users Table to import teacher records to Clever.)
If you signed up for Clever before July 20, 2014, please contact Clever Support once you've completed the User Consolidation process. We will verify that users are now transitioned to the DCID field and update your sync to begin using this data.
3. One Record per Teacher
Once you complete the User Consolidation process and notify Clever (if needed), you’ll see a single record for each teacher in Clever. This record will be connected to the teacher's HomeSchool and also tied to sections taught across all schools. The teacher ‘sis_id’ field in Clever will be populated with teachers’ DCID, and their school will be set to their PowerSchool HomeSchoolId.
