School administrators can use Instant Login to access learning applications as administrators.
Becoming a school admin
School admins are given access by district administrators - if you’d like to have access to Clever as a school administrator, contact the owner of your district’s Clever account.
Accessing the Clever Portal
To access your Clever applications as a school admin, you’ll use the same URL your students and teachers use to access the Clever Instant Login Portal. Usually, this URL follow the format: clever.com/in/<district shortname>.
- Log in with your IDP credentials
- If your Instant Login setup is configured to allow school admin access - for example, your Google Apps email address is the same as your admin email address - you can use the 'Log In' button on this screen to sign in to the Clever portal. Please note that for some Identity Providers this may take some custom configuration.
- If you are both a teacher and a school admin in Clever, you will be able to access both user accounts using the same set of credentials. Clever will prompt you to select which role you would like to log in with:
If your district uses Clever Passwords however, each user account will require a separate set of credentials. You can talk to your district administrator for more information on what your credentials should be for your teacher vs school admin account.
