Overview
How does single sign-on (SSO) work with Synced Passwords?
Can I Look Up Passwords?
If you are a Clever District Administrator you can view users’ credentials by using the data browser - if you click on a record, the username will be in the credentials.district_username field and the password will be in the credentials.district_password field.
How are credentials changed?
Credentials will only change if the data in the Clever username and password field (also referred to as ‘credentials.district_username’ and ‘credentials.district_password’) are changed.
If you are using SFTP, this is done by changing the value in the Username or Password column in the students.csv or teachers.csv file.
If you are using an automatic sync, the credentials will change if the data in the SIS fields that we have mapped to the Clever username and password fields changes.
