Overview
From your district dashboard, you can use the blue search bar at the top of the page to quickly find a specific student, teacher, section or school in your district! Just type a name or an ID into the search bar, and you will see a list of matching entries pop up. If you click on an entry, you will be directed to a profile page containing additional information about this user, section, or school.
NOTE: school admins and district admins will not show up in this blue search bar. Instead, you can view school and district admins from the Clever district dashboard > Team page.
Using the Data Browser
For a more detailed view of your district's information in Clever, you can navigate to the Data Browser. This tool allows you to view the entire set of data currently synced to your district's Clever account. You can access the Data Browser on the left sidebar under Support Tools.
Once in the Data Browser, you can click the top tabs to view your data by district, schools, students, teachers, school admins, sections and student contacts. Click ‘Add Filter’ to search by a specific property.
You can click on a specific record to view more details. Our team's favorite feature: When you click on a specific student or teacher you can view ‘Scoped Apps’ to see which apps are currently shared with the user!
Searching with filters
Filters and hyperlinks allow you to easily review data currently syncing with Clever. Use the filter feature to search for specific entities within Clever. Narrow your results by layering the filters and click on each record to view more information.
Is all of this data shared with applications?
Only if you're sharing your entire district with an application! The Data Browser surfaces your entire set of data in Clever, but not everything you see in the Data Browser is necessarily shared with an application. Click on a specific application to view what data is specifically shared through sharing permissions.
