Overview
There are a variety of Clever status updates available online, or that can be communicated to district admins in various ways. This article details the different status update options, the alert methods available, and how to subscribe to receive them.
Clever system status dynamic updates are always available at https://status.clever.com. From this page, users can view the status of a variety of Clever services.

Subscribing to status updates
To subscribe to receive updates regarding Clever services, select 'Subscribe to updates' at the top right of the Clever Status page.
Choose your method of delivery:
- Email: Get email notifications whenever Clever creates or updates an incident.
- Phone: Get SMS notifications whenever Clever creates or resolves an incident.
- Webhook: Get a webhook notification whenever Clever creates or updates an incident, or changes a component status.
- Tweet: Follow our status channel - @ssostatus
- RSS Feed: Add Clever's status page to your RSS feed.
Most district admins will select to receive updates via email. To do this, simply enter your email address and select 'Subscribe via email'.
The next page will allow you to choose which components you would like to monitor. Clever recommends the following settings:
- Single Sign-On
- SIS Sync (choose your district's sync type)
- Support
Select 'Update Preferences' to save your notification settings.
Managing status update subscriptions
- Open https://status.clever.com.
- Click 'Subscribe to Updates'.
- Enter your email address, and select 'Subscribe via email'.
- You should receive a message that states: "Your email is already subscribed. Use the form below to manage your subscription."
- Update the components you want to follow or unfollow.
- Select 'Update Preferences'.
Unsubscribing from status updates
- Open https://status.clever.com
- Click 'Subscribe to Updates'
- Enter your email address, and select 'Subscribe via email'
- You should receive a message that states: "Your email is already subscribed. Use the form below to manage your subscription."
- Select 'Cancel Subscription'
- Select 'Unsubscribe from Updates'
