How do I create an announcement for my users in the Clever Portal?
To create an announcement for users in your district, you can navigate to the Portal > Communication page in your district dashboard:
After clicking 'Create announcement', you will need to fill out the following fields:
- Who should see this announcement?
- When should this announcement appear? The announcement will be visible in the Clever Portal for selected users between 12AM on the Start Date and 11:59PM on the End Date (in your district's time zone)
- What should this announcement say? You can create an announcement up to 250 characters for your users to see.
- Add a link to more information: (optional) You can include a link for users to click.
Currently, you will only be able to create one announcement across your district at any given time.
Once the announcement is created, you will be able to see whether the notice is currently 'Live', or 'Upcoming' for selected users in their Clever Portal:
