If your district has enabled Active Directory as your sign in method to Clever, you may be able to reset your Active Directory password from Clever. Please note that this set-up will only be available to you if your district level admin has enabled this. If you do not see the Account Recovery option in your Clever portal, you will need to contact your district to reset your Active Directory password. If this is set, you will always be able to reset your AD password from within your Clever portal, but to make sure you can reset it outside of your Clever portal, you’ll need to set up an Account recovery method.
Set Up Account recovery
You will need to set up account recovery to have the ability to reset your password when you are not signed into your Clever account. To do this, click the drop down menu by your name in the top right corner of your Clever portal.
Once clicked, a modal will pop up where you can select your preferred Account recovery method. You will be able to enter an email address or a phone number for Clever to contact you when you need to reset your password.

Please note: Your user identifier is set by your District. Clever support cannot provide this for you.
After you enter your user identifier, Clever will send you a verification code through your preferred method set up in step 1. You will be able to use that code to reset your password on this this page:
Please note: Your password must match your district set requirements.
Once you've reset your password, navigate back to your district's Clever portal and you'll be able to get in with your new Active Directory password!
